Dreaming of Paris

*Sigh* Paris. So, last December I got the chance to visit Paris during a 18-hour layover on the way to South Africa. I enjoyed Paris during that time, but it didn't really leave much of an impact on me. We did quite a bit in such little time, but I was operating on a 5-hour energy shot so let's just say that I didn't really get to take in everything. Fast forward to last month when I visited Paris for the second time - and I absolutely loved it. The layout and consistent design of the city is just incredible. All of the gardens, museums, and public spaces are beautifully well kept. Just like many of the cities that we visited, Paris was very inspiring. At every turn, there is just so much to see.

Top experiences in Paris -

- Walking miles to find a Chipotle in the heat (This wasn't the fun part), which was followed by devouring it under the Eiffel Tower. Please tell me that eating the best food in the world AKA Chipotle(+Wine) under the Eiffel tower isn't the most heavenly thing you've ever heard of. I don't think you can.

-Taking a cruise down the Seine River as we watched the Eiffel Tower light up in the midnight hour. This was one of those moments where you feel all warm inside and think, "Wow, Ok...I'm actually here".

-Listening to live music on the steps of the Sacre-Coeur right before a girl behind us regurgitated all of her wine and beer. Good times!

- The few times that we didn't have to hail a taxi because we actually successfully navigated the Metro.
