Cancun Blues

So, I was going through my photos and I realized that I never uploaded these shots from Cancun back in December! I completely forgot that my sister took these of me. Seeing that beautiful blue water really makes me wish I was on an Island somewhere right now. If only I could just dive right into these photos...

I'm currently restless. I'm itching to be in new surroundings. I have some pretty exciting trips planned and can't wait to share those with you! Hope you enjoy these pictures for now!

Phoenix, AZ Photo Diary

Hey guys! So, I'm just sharing some photos from my Arizona trip with Dominique. It was a short, yet fun trip. We spent time in Phoenix, Sedona, Williams, and Flagstaff.  We did alot of driving, but we really enjoyed the breathtaking scenery at every turn. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor several times. We were in such awe. At one point, we gave up trying to take pictures because the photos didn't come close to capturing what we were truly witnessing.

I'd return to Arizona in a heartbeat! There is just so much to see and do. Next time I visit, I'm hoping for a longer trip where we can do some camping and true adventuring.

At the Grand Canyon - Look at those colors! Tell me, do you think the Colorado river is flowing to the right or to the left? It looked still in real life. So crazy!

We rented a car and we spent a lot of time in it haha! Everything was so far.  Thanks to life conversations, good music, and beautiful scenery, the time really flew by.

The Grand Canyon, again. Can you believe that tiny little river formed this massive natural wonder?

We planned to go to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend but we didn't make it. Its shown as being in the Grand Canyon, but the area is so vast that it was still 2.5 hours away from where we were. Sad day! That just means we have a reason to go back.

Being engaged is a way of doing life, a way of living and loving. It’s about going to extremes and expressing the bright hope that life offers us, a hope that makes us brave and expels darkness with light. That’s what I want my life to be all about - full of abandon, whimsy, and in love. - Bob Goff

Sedona, Arizona | A Red Rock Fantasy

orange7.jpg

As we drove through Sedona's scenic byway, we were surrounded by massive red rock formations. I wish I could put the experience into words. Lord knows its a miracle that we didn't drive off of the road, because our eyes were fixated on our surroundings.

There is a beautiful view in every direction you look in Sedona. It's a small, yet charming desert town. All of the adobe homes are  earth toned, matching the colors of the desert. The native American influence can be seen at every turn. It's apparent that the people of Sedona are very spiritually connected with the earth. As you drive down the center of the town, you'll see healing centers, crystal shops, and health shops. After the sun goes down, you can't see anything other than the millions of tiny bright stars lighting up the sky.

Its the perfect place to retreat and escape the fast-paced city life. I'd definitely love to return one day!
